1. Wout Weghorst will need time to cope

Perhaps the only negative point from the Leicester game was the performance of new signing Wout Weghorst. He played a more centre-forward role behind Rashford and was seen deeper at times to help the midfield.

He had a number of chances to break forward and score but he failed to keep those running. His best was from the point from Fred’s header into the box, he could have scored if he held onto his composure as he had space to turn, but instead, he tried an overhead kick which he miserably failed to execute.

Apart from that miss, he couldn’t play his role to his full potential. Most of the time he went back when Rashford or Bruno Fernandes made favourable runs upfront. Weghorst will take time to get his stride.
