Manchester United should be delighted with themselves at this point of time. The Red Devils have won four games on the trot and are very much in contention for top four once again, something that was looking unlikely just a few weeks ago when they had lost the first two games of the campaign in convincing fashion.

It is safe to say that the squad is much stronger now than it was last season, thanks to the additions that they have made this summer, bringing in players like Casemiro, Antony, Lisandro Martinez, Christian Eriksen and a few more, who can be major stars in the first-team.

But of course, the improvements must continue to take place under the management of Erik ten Hag and the club will surely already have their eyes on potential signings for the future.

One man who has been in high demand in recent times is Jude Bellingham. The Borussia Dortmund midfielder is considered by many as a generational talent. Liverpool and Real Madrid have been heavily linked with him. But as reported by HITC, while speaking with BT Sport’s Champions League Tonight, Owen Hargreaves said:

"“He could turn around a club like Manchester United. Get them back to the top. He could carry that with his mentality. Perfect midfielder. Can play for any club. Everyone will want him – Chelsea, Liverpool, United.”"

Bellingham told to consider a move to Manchester United

The only way that Manchester United could end up becoming a potential destination for Bellingham is if they have a great season.

Last time around, Manchester United finished sixth in the Premier League table. If they fail to finish in the top four again, it would be unrealistic to believe that Bellingham would want to join without Champions League football on offer.

He would be a terrific signing if Manchester United can pull it off. Now, let’s see what happens over the coming weeks and months.

Winds of change seem to be blowing at Old Trafford. But is it light at the end of the tunnel or just another false dawn?
