Manchester United enjoyed a solid summer transfer window while the club seem to be showing tremendous improvements on the pitch and are now genuine contenders for a top four spot, even ahead of the likes of Liverpool and Chelsea. This is not what most fans would have seen coming when the club were absolutely destroyed by Brentford 4-0 in the second game of the season and were sitting bottom of the table.

That’s how quickly things can change in football though and Manchester United will need to make sure that they can continue on this path of improvement.

One area where they still seem to be lacking a bit in though is striker, with Marcus Rashford looking like their biggest goal threat at this point of time while Cristiano Ronaldo has been relegated to a role off the bench.

One striker who seems to be interested in a move to Old Trafford though is Brian Brobbey. As reported by The Sun, he was asked about one team he would want to play for in the future in an interview with ESPN’s Dutch branch, and the Ajax striker responded with ‘Manchester United’.

Ajax wants to join Manchester United in the future

Erik ten Hag will know about Brobbey and his qualities very well, from their time together in Amsterdam.

Brobbey was a standout at the youth levels for both Ajax and the Netherlands national team. A move to RB Leipzig did not work out for him but now he is back at the Dutch club and scoring.

His numbers are impressive for someone who is just 20 years of age and he is expected to get better moving forward.

Thus, it would not be a massive surprise if Brobbey did end up getting his dream move to Manchester United one day in the future.
