Lisandro Martinez has settled in well at Manchester United after a difficult start. A lot had been made about his lack of size but since the game against Brentford, that has not appeared to be much of an issue for the Argentine defender, as the Red Devils have even managed to keep a couple of clean sheets, as they have won four games on the trot.

Now, it remains to be seen if they can continue on this path. There have been times in the past as well when Manchester United have shown glimpses of brilliance only to fade away as the season has progressed. Last season was a brilliant example of that when they went from title contenders to not even finishing in the top four.

If they are to prevent the wheels from falling off this time around, they will need to have players like Martinez available throughout the course of the campaign. And there seems to be some good news regarding that.

The Argentine was forced off the pitch in the game against Arsenal and there were fears that he might have picked up an injury. But as tweeted out by Gaston Edul, Martinez is fine. He went out as a precaution and it is nothing serious.

Manchester United handed Martinez injury boost

Manchester United have been definitely handed a boost by the news that Martinez is fine and it is not a serious injury.

The Argentine might have only arrived this summer but he has already established himself as an important member of this team.

There are some questions about who his long-term partner will be in the heart of defence but at the moment, it looks like Raphael Varane has won his place in the team while Harry Maguire might have to continue sitting on the bench.
