Erik ten Hag is slowly but surely starting to get a tune out of this Manchester United side. Three wins on the trot mean that the Red Devils have recovered from a disastrous start to the campaign and are now sitting in a decent position. And if they can continue at this rate, it would not be a surprise to see them climbing further up the table and challenging for a top four spot this season, especially with Liverpool struggling at the moment.
Ten Hag has been backed by the club in the summer transfer window as well and that deserves credit. They have brought in players like Casemiro, Antony, Lisandro Martinez, Christian Eriksen and a few others, who have quite certainly strengthened the squad significantly. As reported by Manchester Evening News, Shola Shoretire had originally been earmarked for a loan exit this season but those plans were scrapped after Ten Hag indicated he wanted to keep the youngster around for the time being.
