Manchester United are looking to be very active over the last week of the summer transfer window. The club just recently completed a move for Casemiro from Real Madrid, which sent shockwaves through the footballing world, and they seem to have some more big plans before the deadline hits.

The club managed to get an unexpected 2-1 win over Liverpool at Old Trafford as well, which has filled the fans with much-needed enthusiasm for the season, after it had looked like the wheels had already fallen off after two poor performances and defeats in the first two games of the Premier League had left them bottom of the table.

It remains to be seen if Manchester United are able to strengthen their side further over the next week or so. They are certainly expected to.

As reported by ESPN, Manchester United are focused on signing Antony from Ajax but the club also remain interested in bringing in a goalkeeper and a right-back. Erik ten Hag is keen to bring in a right-back to compete with Diogo Dalot, especially if Aaron Wan-Bissaka leaves. Sergino Dest, Denzel Dumfries and Max Aarons are among the options.

It remains to be seen how much actually ends up working out as Manchester United want, before the summer transfer window slams shut.

Out of the right-backs that they are being linked with, in case Wan-Bissaka leaves, Dumfries is certainly the most exciting name. It will be difficult to convince Inter Milan to let him go though, especially this late in the transfer window and it could take a bid around €50 million.

At the moment though, it looks like Manchester United are concentrating on reuniting Ten Hag with Antony, while Ajax do not seem to be keen on letting the Brazilian leave for a transfer fee lower than €100 million.
