Liverpool star could return against Manchester United

After weeks of disappointment and frustration amongst the Manchester United, there seems to be some cause for excitement once again, as it is believed that the Red Devils are on the verge of signing Casemiro from Real Madrid in a deal that could rise up to €70 million with add-ons. The 30-year-old is one of the best defensive midfielders in the world and could end up solving a lot of problems in the middle of the park.

Thus, if Manchester United can get the signing done quickly, they might end up being considered the favourites in their upcoming game against Liverpool, despite having lost their opening two matches in the Premier League this season and sitting at the bottom of the table.

Liverpool, on the other hand, have their own problems to worry about. They have been lucky to escape with draws in their first two Premier League games till now and sit at 12th. Jurgen Klopp’s side just have not seemed as convincing since the departure of Sadio Mane. On top of that, Darwin Nunez got sent off in their last match.

It is safe to say that this is a major boost for Liverpool. Firmino did not play in the game against Crystal Palace but the absence is believed to have been precautionary.

It will be interesting to see how Liverpool do, if he does end up starting against Manchester United at Old Trafford.
