Manchester United need to make changes and additions all over the pitch this summer. The club might have a lot of big names on their books right now but the fact of the matter is that as a squad, they simply are not good enough and have not been for a while now. The fact that they have not won a single piece of silverware over the past five seasons is proof of that.

It appears that not only are Manchester United looking to add to their senior squad, but their youth ranks as well.

The club’s youth academy has been one of their biggest channels of talents over the years and has often acted as the foundation of their most successful sides. And now, it looks like they are ready to add Tottenham Hotspur youth sensation Jayden Meghoma to the ranks there.

As reported by Football Insider, Meghoma has told friends that he is joining Manchester United. A recruitment source has said that the deal is agreed in principle.

Manchester United are on the verge of signing Tottenham Hotspur youth sensation

Tottenham Hotspur’s youth system has produced some of the biggest talents in English football in recent years. Manchester United fans will surely be hoping that Meghoma turns out to be one of them if the Red Devils are indeed able to bring him to the Theatre of Dreams this summer.

Meghoma is considered as one of the biggest youth prospects in the country right now. He is still just 15 years of age but is set to turn 16 soon. He is a left-back, who is also capable of playing at centre-back as well.

This certainly looks like a positive move on the part of Manchester United they can pull it off. It shows that not only are they looking at the present but trying to make the future successful as well.
