Manchester United’s squad is expected to undergo some major changes over the course of the summer transfer window. Erik ten Hag will be arriving as the new manager of the club and will surely want to rebuild the team in his own vision. He enjoyed tremendous success at Ajax but will have his work cut out at Old Trafford, with the Red Devils not having won a trophy in five seasons now.

Thus, there are expected to be several signings this summer in order to strengthen the squad. But at the same time, quite a few players are expected to leave as well.

The likes of Paul Pogba, Edinson Cavani, Juan Mata, Jesse Lingard, Nemanja Matic and a few others seem to be pretty much on their way out of Old Trafford. And there are question marks over the future of Marcus Rashford as well, who has underperformed this season.

As reported by The Telegraph (via The Sun), Bayern Munich are the latest European giant to register their interest in Rashford. The English international does favour a stay at Manchester United though.

Bayern Munich are interested in Manchester United star

Rashford has been a regular for Manchester United for several years now, having broken into the first-team picture at a very young age.

And after showing steady progress over the years, it had looked like he was destined to establish himself as one of the leaders at the club soon. That has not happened though as he has taken a huge step back over the course of the campaign, and is no longer a regular starter for the Red Devils.

Of course, any player can have one off-season and as a result, it would be the best way forward for Manchester United to hold on to Rashford. There is heavy interest in his signature though.
