Manchester United must make move for Barcelona star

It has been another disappointing season for Manchester United. And it has been even more disappointing than other ones in recent times, just because this one held so much promise. The club had finished second in the Premier League last season, and had added superstars like Cristiano Ronaldo, Raphael Varane and Jadon Sancho to that squad.

As a result, most people expected that the club would at least put up a challenge for the Premier League title this time around and the early indications seemed to back up those suggestions.

It might be easy to forget but at one point of time this season, Manchester United were sitting atop the Premier League table. It is safe to say that the slide down from there has been quick and unrelenting.

The club have been knocked out from every cup competition and at this stage, even finishing in the top four of the Premier League would take a fair bit of luck on the part of the Red Devils, requiring either or both of Chelsea and Arsenal to slip up. Thus, it is clear that Manchester United need to strengthen their squad in the summer.

Manchester United must make move for Dembele in the summer

There are a lot of players that Manchester United have been linked with in recent times. One of the most interesting of them is Ousmane Dembele.

The Frenchman has been in terrific form for Barcelona in recent times even though his current deal runs out in the summer and most people expect him to depart Camp Nou.

If that does indeed turn out to be the case then Manchester United should definitely try to make a move happen.

Rather surprisingly, Manchester United have struggled going forward this season, and they could certainly do with someone like Dembele, who can make things happen up the pitch, especially since he might be available on a free transfer.
