Manchester United need to strengthen all over the pitch. The Red Devils have struggled this season both at the back and going forward, despite having some of the biggest stars in the world in their squad. Thus, it is pretty clear that a rebuild is needed at Old Trafford and with that in mind, the fact that a number of players look set to leave the club in the summer, can be a positive for them in the long run.

One area that Manchester United definitely need to strengthen in is striker. Edinson Cavani looks set to depart, while the future of Anthony Martial, currently on loan at Sevilla, is up in the air as well. And who knows what will happen with Marcus Rashford, who has struggled for playing time as well.

Also, there are question marks about Cristiano Ronaldo as well. On one hand, he no longer looks like the player that he once was. On the other hand, would he remain at Manchester United if they fail to qualify for the Champions League?

As reported by Tuttosport (via TEAMtalk), attention from England for Victor Osimhen is primarily from Manchester United. Thus, it looks like the Red Devils are leading the pack interested in the striker’s signature.

Manchester United leading race for Osimhen

Osimhen is one of the most exciting young strikers in the world right now. He has been absolutely superb for Napoli this season and is one of the biggest reasons why they are still in the running for the Scudetto.

He is very highly rated though and it would take a transfer fee around €100 million to sign him from Napoli.

The Italian club have proven to be determined negotiators over the years. Thus, it is safe to say that it will not be easy for Manchester United to sign Osimhen.
