Manchester United make exciting Erik ten Hag decision

Manchester United have steadied the ship quite a bit since the arrival of Ralf Rangnick as manager. But at this point of time, their biggest problem is that they are struggling to convert draws into wins. Thus, it will be interesting to see if the Red Devils are able to finish in the top four of the Premier League this season. Of course, the Champions League is still up for grabs and the club are in a decent position there, having drawn 1-1 away at Atletico Madrid in the first leg.

But unless something unexpected happens, Manchester United are expected to bring in a new permanent manager in the summer, when Rangnick’s interim run comes to an end and he ends up taking on a consultancy role at the club.

One of the most interesting names that has been linked with the Old Trafford job is that of Erik ten Hag and it looks like Manchester United are taking steps in his pursuit already.

Ten Hag is one of the most exciting managers in world football right now. He has done a tremendous job at Ajax. The Dutchman was the mastermind behind their run to the Champions League semi-finals a few years ago and has them playing wonderful football this time around as well.

Thus, if Manchester United are able to appoint him, it would considered as a major coup on the part of the club. There have been suggestions that Ten Hag is also interested in the Old Trafford job.

Let’s see how things turn out. He is not the only manager being linked with Manchester United though. Names likes Mauricio Pochettino, Luis Enrique, Brendan Rodgers and many others have also been brought up.
