Manchester United could end up seeing some significant players leave the club in the upcoming summer transfer window, as the winds of change might be blowing around Old Trafford. Paul Pogba is one of a number of players who will see their current deals with the club expire in the summer. As a result, he could walk out of the Theatre of Dreams as a free agent in the near future.
Manchester United are interested in extending Pogba’s contract. But the negotiations have not witnessed a breakthrough yet.
There have been rumours of Manchester United being ready to make the midfielder the highest-paid player in the history of the Premier League. There has not appeared to be much movement in terms of a contract extension till now though.
It feels like the Frenchman is waiting to see all his options before making any decision on his future. And as reported by Tuttosport, Juventus are not out of the race to sign Pogba yet, even though, making it happen would be difficult.
Where will Pogba end up if he leaves Manchester United?
Other than Juventus, the Manchester United superstar has been constantly linked with the likes of Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain.
Juventus appear to be looking to rebuild their squad in recent times. It was just last month that they pulled off an incredible move and signed Dusan Vlahovic from Fiorentina. The striker has hit the ground running for the Serie A giants and can be an absolute superstar for the club.
One could argue that Pogba played the best football of his career at Juventus and after an underwhelming spell at Manchester United, he might be looking to get back in that kind of form.
For Manchester United, however, losing Pogba in the middle of his prime would be a massive blow.
