Manchester United find themselves in a difficult position right now. On paper, they have one of the best squads in the world, with big-name options in almost every position. But on the pitch, they have struggled and currently find themselves in a tight race to finish in the top four of the Premier League, and if they do not win the UEFA Champions League, this would be their fifth straight trophyless campaign.

It is safe to say that the situation is far from ideal for the Red Devils and they might need to refresh their squad soon, with a new manager expected to arrive in the summer as well.

One player who could be on his way out of Old Trafford is Paul Pogba, with his current deal running out in the summer and the Frenchman yet to agree an extension. Clubs like PSG, Real Madrid, Barcelona and Juventus have been linked with him.

And as reported by Jeunesfooteux (via The Hard Tackle), Manchester United are dreaming of making Jude Bellingham the successor to Pogba.

Manchester United eyeing Bellingham with Pogba’s future uncertain

Manchester United will need to strengthen in the middle of the park even if Pogba decides to stay at Old Trafford for the foreseeable future.

And there are few players in world football right now who have a brighter future than Bellingham, who has been exceptional during his time at Borussia Dortmund, proving his quality in the Bundesliga as well as the Champions League.

It is easy to forget that Bellingham is still just 18 years of age. Thus, if Manchester United were able to sign him, it would be considered as a major coup on the part of the Red Devils. But Borussia Dortmund are not expected to even engage in negotiations for a transfer fee lower than €100 million.
