Manchester United are not in a great position right now. They find themselves chasing a top four spot in the Premier League. Liverpool and Manchester City are almost certain to finish in the top two. Chelsea, Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur, West Ham United and Wolves are competing for the remaining two UEFA Champions League qualifying spots, alongside the Red Devils.

On paper, Manchester United have a good enough squad to finish in the top four. In fact, many even expected them to put up a title challenge at the beginning of this campaign.

It is safe to say that things have not quite gone as smoothly as one would have expected. There is still a lot left to play for though.

But if the Red Devils are to end up enjoying a successful end to this ongoing season, they will need to find a solution to a few of the biggest questions that they are facing right now.

Manchester United: 3 biggest questions the club need to answer

Here are the three biggest questions that Manchester United need to find an answer to, if they are to finish this season strong:

Should Cristiano Ronaldo be dropped?

Cristiano Ronaldo was expected to be the solution to Manchester United’s problems when he arrived in the summer from Juventus. But unfortunately, his presence has raised a lot of questions as well.

The Portuguese superstar has found the going tough recently as he has struggled to find the back of the net on a consistent basis.

This does not look like the Ronaldo of old, who you could rely on to deliver whenever his club needed him to rise to the occasion. Instead, it is a 37-year-old Ronaldo, who is enduring a tough time in front of goal, and incredibly, looks short on confidence right now.
