Manchester United are coming off of a solid result in midweek as they drew 1-1 against Atletico Madrid away in Spain and thus, find themselves in an excellent position in the tie, with the second leg set to be played at Old Trafford. Anthony Elanga was the hero of the match, coming off the bench to draw the Red Devils level with Diego Simeone’s side.

There is not a lot of time to reflect on the result though, as Manchester United have a big game coming up in the Premier League against Watford.

Every game in the Premier League is big for Manchester United right now, as they chase a top four spot. Arsenal have certainly moved up a gear in recent weeks and the Red Devils must keep winning in order to keep up with the Gunners.

But then, there is also the fact that Watford had won the reverse fixture 4-1 this season, which had led to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s departure from the club. This time at Old Trafford, Ralf Rangnick’s side must be keen to get all three points against a Watford side that has struggled to get out of the relegation zone all season and currently sit at 19th in the Premier League table.

Here’s how we think Ralf Rangnick could line Manchester United up, when they take on Watford in an important Premier League game:

De Gea has to be the first name on Rangnick’s team sheet these days after how good he has been this season.

The Spaniard is once again one of the best goalkeepers in the world. There are just no two ways about it. And he might very well be Manchester United’s Player of the Season till now as well. Thus, expect to see him between the posts.
