Manchester United fans must be delighted with how well Paul Pogba has done since returning to the pitch from his injury. The Frenchman has been one of the club’s standout players and it does feel like Ralf Rangnick’s style of football suits him. With the club competing in the Champions League and to finish in the top four of the Premier League, it is safe to say that the they will be hoping that the midfielder continues to deliver.

But at the same time, there are worries about his long-term future at Manchester United, with his current deal with the club running out in the summer. Thus, he could walk out as a free agent, if he does not agree a contract extension by then.

While the possibility of Pogba staying at Old Trafford has not been completely ruled out, there are several top clubs who continue to be linked with the Frenchman.

Paris Saint-Germain is one such club and Nicolas Anelka has revealed that Pogba would be not be against the idea of joining them. As reported by RMC Sport (via Caught Offside), the former French international said:

"“If he wants to come to Paris? I discussed that six months ago with him and he would not be against coming to PSG.”"

Could Pogba leave Manchester United for PSG?

A lot could end up depending on how this season turns out for Manchester United. At the moment, unless they end up winning the Champions League, it looks like the club could be headed for a fifth straight trophyless campaign, which is far from ideal.

On the other hand, despite having one of the best squads ever assembled, PSG have struggled to dominate as one would have expected them to and have appeared to take a step back this season, despite signing Lionel Messi in the summer.

Thus, it is very possible that the French giants could try to make more additions to their squad next summer. Could the Manchester United superstar end up joining them?
