Jadon Sancho
Manchester United signed Sancho in the summer from Borussia Dortmund in one of the biggest moves in the history of the club. Thus, it is safe to say that expectations were very high surrounding the English international.
Sancho struggled to meet those expectations early on though as it looked like he was having a difficult time adjusting to the Premier League and his new teammates.
One of the most effective wingers in the world during his time at Borussia Dortmund, Sancho struggled to make an impact at Manchester United.
For a player as young as him, that was expected though and most fans held out hope that he would eventually come into his own as time progressed. And it looks like their patience with Sancho is finally being rewarded.
He has both scored and assisted more frequently in recent games and although he might still be quite some distance away from his Borussia Dortmund form, hopefully that will come soon as well.
Bruno Fernandes
One man who did not have a hard time adjusting to life at Manchester United is Fernandes. The Portuguese playmaker arrived from Sporting Lisbon in January of 2020 and took to the Premier League like a duck to water.
In fact, during his first season-and-a-half at Manchester United, he was without doubt the club’s best player and even one of the best on the planet for that matter.
This season has painted a different picture though as Fernandes has struggled to make his mark on games.
Signs have looked much more positive over the past few games though as Fernandes has scored a few goals once again and it is looking like he is finally rediscovering some his old mojo. That is exciting news for Manchester United to say the least as they have definitely missed his effectiveness this season.
