There were a number of players who were struggling for playing time at Old Trafford and Manchester United sent several of them out on loan last month. Now, it remains to be seen how things work out for them away from the Theatre of Dreams. Stars like Donny van de Beek, Anthony Martial and several others are in that list of players.

Things appear to be looking up for Van de Beek for sure. It appears that he has already made an impression at Everton and manager, Frank Lampard, has only had positive things to say about him till now.

On the other hand, he had spent the majority of the first half of the 2021/22 campaign, sitting on the bench at Manchester United, first under the management of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and then Ralf Rangnick.

And as reported by the Daily Star, Van de Beek will push to join Everton on a permanent basis if he continues to flourish at Goodison Park, provided the two clubs can agree a fee and Lampard’s side are able to avoid relegation.

Van de Beek looks set to push for Manchester United exit

Football is a funny game and things can change very quickly, but at this point of time, Van de Beek seems to be enjoying his spell at Everton.

Their performances seem to have improved as well since the arrival of Lampard as manager and it does feel like The Toffees should have enough in the tank to avoid relegation.

Thus, Van de Beek’s Manchester United future appears to be up in the air although there is still a long time left on his current deal and as a result, the ball will be in the court of the Red Devils. Ultimately, a lot could end up depending on who the club’s next manager is.
