Diogo Dalot

0ne player who has impressed since the arrival of Ralf Rangnick as interim manager is Dalot and he is pretty much firmly ahead of Aaron Wan-Bissaka at the moment in the right-back pecking order.

Raphael Varane

Varane has not had the impact that Manchester United would have been hoping for when they signed him from Real Madrid in the summer. Hopefully, he will rediscover his best form soon.

Harry Maguire

Maguire has struggled this season and questions have been raised about whether the defender should even be starting at this point. Rangnick has mostly stuck with the Manchester United captain till now though.

Luke Shaw

Shaw is another defender who has struggled to reproduce his performances from last season and is pretty much competing for the first-team spot with Alex Telles right now.

Scott McTominay

Like many seasons in the past, McTominay’s form has blow hot and cold this time around as well.

Paul Pogba

Pogba has been an absolute standout since his return from injury and has been Manchester United’s best player over the past three games.

Jadon Sancho

Fortunately, after a tough start to life at Manchester United, Sancho appears to be finding his feet and coming into his own, which is great news for the club and the fans.

Bruno Fernandes

Fernandes has raised a lot of questions in recent times. He has not been at his effective best this season and many people have raised doubts about whether he should be dropped from the starting XI on current form.

Anthony Elanga

Elanga is a player who has made an impact on a number of occasions that he has played under the management of Rangnick. And they will need someone to make an impact against Brighton & Hove Albion.

Cristiano Ronaldo

Just like a number of his teammates, Ronaldo has been nowhere near his best this season but will need to rediscover his form if the club are to finish in the top four.
