The names of Manchester United and Juventus have been involved with each other quite a lot in recent times. It was just last summer that the Premier League club signed Cristiano Ronaldo from the Serie A giants in one of the most talked about transfer moves in history. That was not the end of it though as rumours have surrounded both clubs in recent months as well.

It was believed that Juventus were interested in signing both Edinson Cavani and Anthony Martial in the recent January transfer window, although neither of them ended up happening.

On the other hand, Manchester United have been linked with an interest in Juventus players like Matthijs de Ligt, Paulo Dybala and Federico Chiesa. It will be interesting to see what happens regarding that in the future.

And now, it looks like the two can be involved in a transfer battle as well. As reported by CalcioMercato, Ruben Neves might leave in the summer and both Manchester United and Juventus are interested in the Portuguese midfielder.

Manchester United and Juventus both reportedly interested in Neves

Neves currently plays for Premier League side, Wolves, and he has been brilliant for them over the years.

His current deal with Wolves is believed to run out in the summer of 2024 and it is quite possible that the two could part ways soon. In fact, Neves was heavily linked with an exit last summer as well but it did not end up transpiring.

Manchester United are believed to have been interested in Neves for a long time and it is not hard to see why considering the fact that they are in need of a midfielder and the Portuguese international is one of the best in the Premier League, playing for a team outside the Big Six right now.

But now, it appears that there is interest in his signature from abroad as well and thus, it will be interesting to see what the future holds for the midfielder.
