Manchester United grabbed victory from the jaws of a stalemate as Marcus Rashford found the back of the net in stoppage time to hand Ralf Rangnick’s side a 1-0 win and all three points against West Ham United. This is a massive result for the Red Devils and could end up having huge implications on the top four come May.
As a result of their win, Manchester United are already ahead of West Ham United despite having played a game less than David Moyes’ side. That would have been almost unthinkable a couple of months back.
Now, the most important thing for the club would be to carry on with this good run of form and hopefully continue their rise up the table over the coming weeks and months.
While Manchester United look pretty much out of the title race, a top four finish would be considered as huge for the Red Devils, especially after the start to the season that they had.

Not too long ago, it had looked like Manchester United would struggle badly to finish in the top four this season.
But following their win over West Ham United, Rangnick’s side are already up to fourth in the Premier League table.
Now, one has to admit that Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur have played less games, but at the same time, it is undeniable that Manchester United are very much in the mix when it comes to potentially finishing in the top four.
While Manchester City and Liverpool seem almost certain to have two of the spots unless something very unexpected happens, the other two spots appear to be pretty much up for grabs.
