Manchester United have been linked with a wide number of players in recent times without making a single move in the January transfer window till now. That could end up changing soon though as the Red Devils have continued to struggle even after the appointment of Ralf Rangnick as their interim manager till the end of the season. And transfer rumours just grow after every dropped point.
One player whose name has been brought up frequently with regards to a move to Manchester United recently is that of Borussia Monchengladbach’s Denis Zakaria.
Right now, he is believed to be in the final six months of his current deal with the Bundesliga club and as a result, it is believed that a £10 million transfer fee could be enough to sign him this January.
But it looks like Juventus have joined Manchester United in keeping an eye on the Zakaria situation although neither of them have started talks with Borussia Monchengladbach. Fabrizio Romano tweeted out about the situation:

Juventus and Manchester United are both interested in Zakaria
Juventus and Manchester United are two of the clubs being linked with a move for Zakaria. The Swiss international has been a standout in the Bundesliga in recent years and thus, it is not hard to see why some of Europe’s biggest clubs are interested in his signature.
He is also just 25 years of age and entering his prime as a footballer. Thus, this might be the perfect time to sign him.
Now, it remains to be seen if Manchester United do end up making a move for Zakaria in the future and if they do, whether it is this January or next summer.
He is not the only midfielder that Manchester United have been linked with this month though. Names like Amadou Haidara, Boubacar Kamara and many others have been brought up as well.
