Aaron Wan-Bissaka

Diogo Dalot has impressed in recent times but he might be a doubt for this game, having suffered a cut recently. Thus, it won’t be a surprise if the Portuguese full-back sits this one out and Wan-Bissaka gets a chance to show what he is capable of instead.

Victor Lindelof

Lindelof has arguably been Manchester United’s best centre-back this season till now and should get the nod here.

Raphael Varane

Varane’s return to fitness is a massive boost for Manchester United and hopefully, the French World Cup winner will back the excitement up with performances on the pitch.

Alex Telles

Telles has missed the previous three games, despite his recent impressive performances. But he looks set to start this one with Luke Shaw suspended.

Fred

Fred has been a regular in the Red Devils’ midfield for a while and do not expect that to change in such an important game.

Nemanja Matic

While normally one would have expected Scott McTominay to start this one, the Scottish midfielder is suspended for this game. As a result, Matic would be expected to come into the starting XI vs Aston Villa.

Mason Greenwood

Greenwood has been hit and miss in recent weeks but he should get a chance against Aston Villa. He has been better than some of the club’s other out of form forward players.

Jadon Sancho

Sancho needs to rediscover his best form as soon as possible but might get the nod here due to Marcus Rashford’s recent struggles.

Edinson Cavani

Cavani has come into the first-team in recent weeks and contributed. As a result, expect him to start in the ‘2’ up front.

Cristiano Ronaldo

No points for guessing who will start alongside Cavani up front. Once again, Manchester United will be looking towards Ronaldo to come up with a big goal.
