Anthony Martial’s time at Manchester United is expected to come to an end soon with the striker looking for an Old Trafford exit in January. The Frenchman has fallen behind the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Edinson Cavani, Marcus Rashford and Mason Greenwood in the pecking order, and has struggled for playing time this season. Thus, it would not be a surprise to see him depart the club soon.

Despite his recent lack of form, there is expected to be some serious interest in Martial’s signature. Clubs like Barcelona, Juventus, Sevilla, Newcastle United and others have been linked with the Manchester United player over the past month or so.

There have been suggestions that Martial prefers a move to Sevilla but an interesting rumour has emerged recently surrounding Juventus.

As reported by Calciomercato (via Inside Futbol), Juventus are weighing up offering Dejan Kulusevski to Manchester United on loan as part of a deal for Martial.

Juventus could make tempting offer to Manchester United

It was not too long ago that Kulusevski was considered one of the most highly-rated young players in all of Serie A. Things have not quite gone his way since moving to Juventus though.

He is still 21 years of age, and has plenty of time on his hands to turn things around. And recently, he has been linked with Premier League clubs like Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur.

On the other hand, Martial finds himself in a tough spot at Manchester United. After his tremendous 2019/20 season, when he finished as the highest goalscorer for the club, he has not been able to rediscover his form and has struggled in front of goal for the Red Devils.

Thus, the Frenchman could do with a change of scenery as well. As a result, if Juventus put in a swap offer involving Martial and Kulusevski, it could be tempting for Manchester United.
