Manchester United star has already commented on Barcelona move

Marcus Rashford has come through the ranks at Manchester United, and has been a part of the first-team picture since 2016. The youngster has been an integral part of the team in the last few years and given that he is still just 24 years of age and with the incredible amount of talent he possesses, there is no doubt that top European clubs would try to sign him if the opportunity arises.
Several rumours have emerged in the past week that Barcelona have an eye on the Manchester United star. The club are looking to rebuild after a disastrous start to the season.
And it appears that they are closing in on a move for Manchester City’s Ferran Torres. Could they end up making a move for Rashford in the future and would the Manchester United star be open to the move?
Rashford’s comments from earlier this year do suggest that he would be open to playing abroad, especially for a club like Barcelona. As reported by The Guardian, when asked if he would like to play abroad, he said:
"“I would never say no.”"
When asked about his ideal club, the Manchester United star had said:
"“Other than United? I’m a big fan of Real Madrid and Barcelona, because they’ve always had great players and played attractive football.”"
The Manchester United star has already admitted to liking Barcelona
Barcelona are not in a good financial situation right now, and it feels very unlikely that they would pay the kind of transfer fee that Manchester United are expected to want to let Rashford leave.
Of course, you can never say never in football. Barcelona have already sprung a transfer surprise. As reported by ESPN, they are closing in on a €55 million move for Manchester City’s Torres. Not many would have expected that either.
Rashford had hit the ground running after his recent return from injury but has struggled to impress recently. On the other hand, with the likes of Mason Greenwood and Jadon Sancho competing for a spot as well, there have been serious questions about whether his playing time could decrease moving forward.
