Manchester United: 3 players being linked with January move
Things have changed a lot for Manchester United since the summer, when they were considered as genuine contenders for the Premier League title. Now, finishing in the top four looks like the main objective of the club, while Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been shown the exit door after almost three years in the managerial hot seat and has been replaced by Ralf Rangnick, who will be the interim manager till the end of the season.
There have been rumours as well that the club are ready to back the German coach in January, as he has made a promising start to his stint at Old Trafford.
As a result, quite a few players are being linked with Manchester United as potential January signings.
Unsurprisingly, none of them would be considered as huge signings for the Red Devils in terms of transfer fee but if they could pull them off, it could potentially end up making a big difference on the pitch.
Manchester United: 3 players being linked with January move
Here are three players who are being linked with a potential move to Manchester United in the upcoming January transfer window:
Amadou Haidara
When Rangnick was brought in as the interim manager of the club, it was expected that Manchester United would eventually be linked with players from RB Leipzig, a club where he spent significant time.
And it did not take long for the first rumours to emerge, as the Red Devils have been linked with Amadou Haidara.
If Manchester United did decide to make a move for Haidara though, he could prove to be a very solid signing for the club.
The midfielder has been a standout for RB Leipzig in the Bundesliga in recent times. On the other hand, Manchester United do need to improve in the middle of the park significantly.
