Sancho arrived with a lot of expectations this summer but it is safe to say that he has not been able to deliver on them till now.

During his time at Borussia Dortmund, Sancho was one of the most exciting young talents in world football, both scoring and assisting consistently.

His start to life at Manchester United proved to be difficult though as he struggled to make a goal contribution for quite some time. In fact, similar to Mason Greenwood, he was ultimately dropped to the bench and found himself as an unused substitute at times as well.

Slowly but surely his performances have improved since then and he has now started making a positive impact on the team.

Sancho is someone who appears to have played his way back into the team. He might not be on top form yet but that will only come with more minutes on the pitch. Ralf Rangnick is known for developing young players and he might be the perfect coach for someone like Sancho. Let’s just hope that he can find his best form soon.

Alex Telles

Telles had been linked with a Premier League move for years. And he finally arrived in England last summer, joining Manchester United in what was considered a major coup for the club.

He has never managed to establish himself as the starting left-back at Old Trafford though. A big reason behind that is that his arrival coincided with Luke Shaw playing some of the best football of his career and establishing himself as one of the best left-backs in the Premier League.

Thus, Telles spent the majority of his first season at the club as the back up option to Shaw. Recently though, he has come into the starting XI in the Englishman’s absence and put in some incredible performances. So much so that it appears there is some genuine competition for the left-back spot.
