The game between Manchester United and Arsenal is going to be very important for both sides, as it looks like they could end up in a top four race this season. The Red Devils have not made the start that they would expected and currently find themselves in a sticky situation. Things have looked up under caretaker manager Michael Carrick though, with back-to-back positive results.

On the other hand, Arsenal made a poor start to the campaign to say the least but have made a brilliant comeback since then, and going into the game, they will have a 5 point lead over Manchester United. Not many would have predicted that a few months ago but football is a funny game.

Ralf Rangnick is expected to be in attendance when the two Premier League sides meet at Old Trafford, although it might be a bit more time before we see him in the Manchester United dugout.

It is hard to pick a favourite for this one. But there is expected to be a big return on the part of Manchester United, who could give them the edge.

Here’s how we think Manchester United will line up when they face Arsenal at Old Trafford in a very important Premier League game:

David de Gea

The only man who looks like a sure starter in this Manchester United team at the moment is the Spaniard.

He has been superb this season and looks back at his best, which he needed to do after last season, when it had looked like his Manchester United career was winding down after Dean Henderson had become Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s first-choice in the second half of the campaign.

At the moment though, it is safe to say that De Gea has a firm grip on the first-team gloves once again.
