Things are not going Manchester United’s way at the moment. Not only have they struggled for form and results on the pitch, but Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side have major injury worries as well. Not too long ago, Raphael Varane picked up an injury that is expected to keep him out for around a month. And now, he has been joined by his international teammate on the sidelines, who could be out for even longer.

The player in question is Paul Pogba. The French midfield maestro has raised a lot of eyebrows with his recent performances but there is no doubt that he remains an important part of Manchester United’s plans. Thus, his recent injury will be a massive blow for the Red Devils.

As reported by ESPN, Manchester United have been informed that Pogba could be out for two months with a thigh injury. The midfielder has withdrawn from the France squad after suffering the injury in training on Monday.

Initial tests have indicated that he could miss six to eight weeks of action. The player is set to undergo further scans at Manchester United.

Manchester United suffer massive Pogba injury blow

It is safe to say that Pogba could be a huge miss for Manchester United. His form has been up and down this season, but there is no question that he is one of the best midfielders in the world on his day.

Pogba started the season in magnificent form, providing four assists against Leeds United in Manchester United’s opening game of the Premier League season. And he was almost unplayable over the first few weeks.

Since then though, his form has dipped a bit and with his current deal with the club set to expire at the end of the season, it is hard not to feel that his Old Trafford career could be slowly heading towards an underwhelming end, unless he agrees an extension in the near future.
