It looks like Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will continue as the Manchester United manager for the time being although there have been several questions surrounding his future in recent days. But it must be said that the club might have no other choice but to make a change if things don’t improve in the near future.

Several managers have been linked with the club over the last few days as possible replacements for Solskjaer in case he was shown the exit door.

And while that has not happened, one must keep an eye on these potential managerial targets of the club. At the end of the day, they sit at seventh in the points table and have lost five of their last nine games across all competitions.

As reported by The Sun, Manchester United have a four man managerial shortlist as possible candidates to replace Solskjaer.

One of the best players in the history of the game, Zidane accomplished an incredible amount as the manager of Real Madrid as well.

In his first stint as the club’s manager, he took over a team that was struggling and guided them to three straight UEFA Champions League titles, something that had never been done before.

He would return for a second stint at the club as well and while this one was not as successful, he still had a decent time considering the circumstances.

At the moment, Zidane is without a club, having left Real Madrid at the end of last season. And if Manchester United do decide to part ways with Solskjaer, it is not hard to see why they might want to bring in Zidane as his replacement. The big question, of course, would be whether he would be interested in the Old Trafford job.
