Manchester United fans will be eagerly waiting for Cristiano Ronaldo to make his second debut for the club after completing a stunning return to Old Trafford this summer. But it is very possible that they might have to wait a bit longer.
It has been over a decade since Ronaldo left the Theatre of Dreams to join Real Madrid. Since then, he has gone on to establish himself as one of the greatest players in the history of the game.
His legendary stint at Real Madrid was followed by a spell at Juventus, which did not turn out as most would have expected. Ronaldo was believed to be the missing piece of the puzzle who would lead them to the UEFA Champions League title but the Italian giants appeared to take a step back in Europe over the past three seasons instead and finished fourth in Serie A last season after winning the title nine times in a row.
Now back at Old Trafford, there are hopes that Ronaldo will be the one to guide the Red Devils back to their trophy-winning ways after finishing four seasons without any silverware.

Ronaldo’s second debut for Manchester United could be delayed
As reported by The Sun, Ronaldo could have to wait until next Tuesday for his full second debut for Manchester United as he will have only one day’s training with his teammates, which is unlikely to be enough for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to pick him from the start for the game against Newcastle United.
The possibility of an appearance from the bench cannot be ruled out. Of course, anything is possible in football and the manager could decide to spring a surprise by giving the Portuguese legend the nod from the very start.
Now, it remains to be seen when Ronaldo will end up making his second debut for the club and whether he is able to make a difference for the Red Devils through the course of his second stint at Old Trafford.
