Manchester United exciting deadline day transfer update
Manchester United must be delighted with the transfer window that they have enjoyed. With the signings of Cristiano Ronaldo, Raphael Varane, Jadon Sancho and Tom Heaton, the Red Devils must surely be considered as one of the favourites for the Premier League title this season along with Manchester City, Chelsea and Liverpool.
One area of the squad that could still be a worry for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer though is the middle of the park as they appear to be light on options there at the moment.
The club have been linked with several midfielders over the course of the summer but have not made an addition there till now. And with the transfer window set to slam shut soon, it remains to be seen if they can do so in time. There is some promising news regarding that matter.
As reported by the Express, the club are still open to making late signings provided that their net spend stays healthy.

Could Manchester United sign a central midfielder on transfer deadline day?
While there have not been many rumours surrounding more additions, as we have already seen this summer, the Red Devils are very capable of making a surprise move.
Solskjaer does not appear to have too many options to choose from in the middle of the park at the moment, especially following Scott McTominay’s recent injury. Thus, making a signing there could be important.
But even if the Red Devils do not make another signing this summer, the fans must be very happy with the players who have arrived at Old Trafford. In Ronaldo, Varane and Sancho, the club have brought in three of the best players in the world in their respective positions while Heaton can prove to be a solid addition to the squad as well. Solskjaer’s men should be very confident of their chances of lifting silverware this season.
