A goal from Mason Greenwood late in the game against Wolverhampton Wanderers secured Manchester United all three points and some Premier League history. As reported by Manchester Evening News, they surpassed Arsenal’s record of 27 Premier League away matches unbeaten after their 1-0 win.
The performance though left a lot to be desired and might even worry Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. If Wolves had taken their chances, they most probably would have won the game. Of course, David de Gea’s excellent performance in goal deserves a lot of praise as well.
But this is a Wolves team that has now lost all three of their Premier League games this season. Moving forward, the Red Devils have to be better if they are to challenge for the title.
Of course, the introduction of a certain Cristiano Ronaldo into this side can help in that matter.

Manchester United will need to improve going forward
One man who has been brilliant for the Red Devils for quite some time is Greenwood. He has now scored in all three games in the Premier League this season with two of those goals resulting in three extra points for the club.
Thus, the arrival of Ronaldo will raise a question or two about his role in the team as well. The Portuguese legend would be expected to play in the number 9 position. On the other hand, Jadon Sancho and Marcus Rashford could be the two wingers.
As a result, will it leave Greenwood coming off the bench? He certainly has performed well enough to have a regular starting spot in this team.
This will be a problem that Solskjaer needs to solve going forward. But for now, he must be delighted with the performances that the 19-year-old is putting in. He has been a real difference maker for the club this season and will hopefully continue to be so.
