Manchester United were already enjoying a great summer transfer window, having signed Jadon Sancho, Raphael Varane and Tom Heaton. But the addition of Cristiano Ronaldo might have taken things to the next level.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side finished second in the Premier League last season while also reaching the Europa League final. After the signings that they have made this summer, they must be considered as one of the favourites for the title.

Ronaldo’s arrival means that there is incredible depth up top. But it also means that some players might have to leave the club on loan in search of playing time this season.

Amad seems like a player who will be heading out of Old Trafford on a temporary basis. Fabrizio Romano tweeted out that Feyenoord are closing in on a loan move for the youngster with the deal set to be completed soon. The Red Devils have accepted the loan proposal until June 2022 and things are in the final stages.

Amad appears to be closing in on a loan exit from Manchester United

Amad has already made quite a few appearances for the club’s first-team while impressing immensely while playing for the under-23s side.

But considering the immense depth in the forward areas at Old Trafford right now following the arrivals of Ronaldo and Sancho, going out on loan for the season and playing some regular football can be a great step in his overall development as a player.

Feyenoord are a good side, who always compete for a top four spot in the Eredivisie and playing there can be a brilliant experience for someone as young as Amad.

While he is very highly-rated with many believing that he can be one of the best players in the world one day, ultimately he has not played a lot of football at the senior level till now. Thus, this loan spell would make a lot of sense.
