Arsenal transfer target prefers Manchester United move
Manchester United have made some additions to their squad in the summer transfer window but there is the possibility that they could make more if the right opportunity presents itself late on.
But they are not the only Premier League side who could be looking to make something happen late on. Arsenal might be another one. Mikel Arteta’s side have not made a great start to their Premier League campaign, having lost both of their games till now.
Arsenal have made quite a few signings this summer as well but might need some more if this side are to compete for a European spot after finishing 8th last season. One player that they have been linked with recently is Kieran Trippier.
As reported by Eurosport, Arsenal are serious about their pursuit of Trippier but the player would prefer a move to Manchester United. Some sources believe that the player is set on a move to Old Trafford if he does leave Atletico Madrid.

Will Manchester United make a move for Trippier this summer?
The Red Devils were heavily linked with a move for Trippier earlier in the transfer window as well. But those rumours appear to have gone a bit cold recently.
A massive reason for that might be the £34 million transfer fee that Atletico Madrid are believed to be looking for in order to let the 30-year-old right-back leave the club leave this summer.
On the other hand, Diogo Dalot’s impressive performances in pre-season might have played a big role as well. While the Portuguese international might not have featured for a single minute of football yet this season, he was on the bench for both of the club’s Premier League games till now.
Thus, it looks like Ole Gunnar Solskjaer might be happy to have Dalot as the man competing with Aaron Wan-Bissaka for the right-back spot in his team this season. In that case, a move for Trippier this summer would be very unlikely.
