Manchester United have picked next transfer target
Manchester United should be delighted with the signings that they have made in the ongoing summer transfer window. Jadon Sancho, Raphael Varane and Tom Heaton have arrived at Old Trafford.
Thus, it is safe to say that the squad is significantly stronger this time around. And after finishing second in the Premier League and runners up in the Europa League last season, the Red Devils will be hoping to win some silverware this season. In that regard, the new signings could end up having a huge impact.
But it looks like the Red Devils might still have more transfer plans for the summer. As reported by ESPN, the club are open to making another signing before the deadline with a midfielder being prioritised ahead of a right-back although another signing is not considered urgent.
Solskjaer’s side have been linked with several players recently. Now, it remains to be seen how things unfold over the next few weeks.

Manchester United might make a move for a midfielder this summer
Midfield is a position that the club might very well need to strengthen in over the course of the next few weeks. At this point of time, Nemanja Matic is perhaps the most natural defensive midfielder at the club.
The Serbian has been impressive in pre-season and could definitely play a role in this side. But he is 33 years of age, and is not a long-term solution in the middle of the park.
It must also be pointed out that Paul Pogba’s Old Trafford future is up in the air as well. While there is a feeling that he will remain at Old Trafford this season, the French World Cup winner is in the final year of his current deal and will become a free agent next summer if he does not agree an extension with the club before that.
As a result, signing a midfielder this summer does make sense for Manchester United.
