Manchester United must be delighted with the signings that they have made in this summer transfer window. The club have brought in Jadon Sancho, Raphael Varane and Tom Heaton over the course of the last few months.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side are coming off of a solid campaign that saw them finish second in the Premier League and as runners up in the Europa League. And, the squad might be much stronger this time around with the additions that they have made.

Sancho and Varane are players both of whom are expected to be first-team regulars. On the other hand, Heaton might have an important role to play in the squad as well.

But even then, the Red Devils might be looking to make more additions to their squad this summer and strengthen it even further. One player that they have been linked with recently is Kieran Trippier and while rumours have gone cold a bit recently, it looks like the club remain interested in the move. Would Trippier be a good signing for Manchester United?

Not too long ago, signing a new right-back this summer must have been viewed as a priority for the Red Devils by many. But after the impressive performances of Diogo Dalot in pre-season, that might no longer be the case.

Dalot spent the previous season on loan with AC Milan where he enjoyed a decent spell and he featured for the Portugal national team at UEFA EURO 2020 as well. And his recent performances do suggest that he should get an opportunity to make his mark at Old Trafford this season.

It goes without saying that someone like Trippier would be a solid addition to this team. He has a lot of experience at both club and international level. But due to the presence of Dalot in the squad, the Red Devils should consider strengthening in other areas first.
