Could former Manchester United star make return this summer?
Manchester United have already made some very solid moves this summer. They have brought in Jadon Sancho, a player that the club have been linked with for years, as well as Tom Heaton. A move for Raphael Varane does not seem far away either with an agreement reached with Real Madrid. Could they possibly top it off with the return of a popular former player?
One of the areas that the Red Devils could still be looking to strengthen in is central midfield. Nemanja Matic is now 33 years of age.
On the other hand, while there is a feeling that Paul Pogba might stay this season, his long-term future is still up in the air as the French midfield maestro is in the final 12 months of his current deal at Old Trafford.
As reported by The Guardian, Ander Herrera is one of the players that Paris Saint-Germain are hoping to offload according to reports from Spain. A possible return to Manchester United for the midfielder does not seem beyond the realms of possibility.

Could Herrera make a Manchester United return?
It is safe to say that Herrera was a popular member of the team during his time at Old Trafford and it was a bit of a surprise when he did end up leaving the club on a free transfer.
With reinforcements needed in the middle of the park, it is not hard to see why bringing the Spaniard could be an attractive option.
But Herrera himself is set to turn 32 years of age soon, which is just a year younger than Matic. And he would not be a long-term solution in midfield either.
On the other hand, the club have been linked with players like Eduardo Camavinga, Saul Niguez, Declan Rice and many others recently, who could prove to be long-term answers in the middle of the park if the Red Devils are able to sign any of them.
