Paul Pogba appears to hint at Manchester United stay with new tweet
There has been a lot of speculation surrounding the future of Paul Pogba at Manchester United. The French midfield maestro has been one of the most important players in Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s team. But with him entering the final 12 months of his current deal, rumours have been floating around about a potential Old Trafford exit this summer.
It goes without saying that Pogba leaving would be a massive blow for the club. On top of his game, he is one of the best midfielders in the world.
Last season, he put in some of his best performances in a Manchester United shirt and was a massive reason why the club managed to finish second in the Premier League and reached the final of the Europa League.
And his latest tweet does appear to hint that he might be staying on at Old Trafford, at least for the season. Pogba tweeted out a picture of himself with the caption – “It’s time for the NEW SEASON!”

Manchester United must try to keep Pogba at Old Trafford
Pogba is one of the most important parts of this team at the moment. The Red Devils have made some solid additions this summer, having signed Jadon Sancho and Tom Heaton, with Raphael Varane’s arrival only a matter of time as well as a deal has been agreed with Real Madrid already.
Thus, it is safe to say that the squad is stronger now than it was in the previous season. But Pogba leaving would be a worry. He is one of the best midfielders in the world when on form and it would be very difficult to find a replacement for him.
A lot will depend on his contract situation as well though. Pogba is in the final year of his current deal and will become a free agent next summer. Thus, if he does not sign an extension soon, the Red Devils will have a difficult decision on their hands.
