Anthony Elanga
From scoring in a Premier League game against Wolverhampton Wanderers last season to exciting everyone with his eye-catching performances in the pre-season friendlies so far, Anthony Elanga has made the world aware of his talent over the last few months. Now, what he needs is a breakout season for the first-team.
Signed from Malmö FF in 2014, he is the son of former Cameroon international, Joseph Elanga. The youngster has already made his mark while rising through the youth ranks at Manchester United.
He made his competitive debut against Leicester City in the Premier League last season when the club were in a middle of a tough fixture schedule. And he certainly took the opportunities he was given with both hands.

The 19-year-old opened the scoring for the club against Wolves on their final matchday of the 2020/21 Premier League season. In this pre-season, he has looked lively, scoring a couple of goals already.
His running off the ball has been brilliant. His sheer pace and eye for goal truly standout. And it looks like he could have a long-term future at Old Trafford.
With Marcus Rashford set to miss the start of the campaign due to injury issues, there is a possibility that Elanga could get some first-team minutes on the pitch, especially after his eye-catching displays in pre-season, which must have gotten the attention of Solskjaer.
Like Rashford, Elanga shows strong running with and without the ball. Furthermore, he also likes taking on defenders one v one. Thus, Elanga could very possibly serve as cover to Rashford at the start of the 2021/22 campaign. And hopefully if given the chance, he can take them. Because he has ability in spades and just needs a stage to show it.
