Manchester United have enjoyed a spectacular summer transfer window till now and have strengthened their squad significantly. But they are not expected to stop there.
Central midfield is an area on the pitch that the Red Devils might need to make an additions in in the near future. At the moment, Paul Pogba’s future remains up in the air as he is in the final 12 months of his current deal with the Red Devils. On the other hand, Nemanja Matic is now 33 years of age as well.
As a result, several central midfielders have been linked with a move to Old Trafford over the course of the last few months. Eduardo Camavinga is someone whose name has been brought up as a potential signing for the club.
Camavinga is in the final 12 months of his contract at Rennes and could be on his way out as well. According to journalist Mohamed Bouhafsi and as reported by Tribuna, his agent Jonathan Barnett is ‘pushing’ for the teenager to join Manchester United this summer. But the player himself prefers a move to Paris Saint-Germain.

Could Camavinga join Manchester United this summer?
Camavinga is one of the most highly-rated young players in football today and many believe that he can be one of the best players in the world in the future.
Despite being just 18 years of age, he has significant experience under his belt already, having been a regular in Rennes’ first-team for the past couple of seasons.
There have been certain rumours that Camavinga could leave as a free agent next season but it will be interesting to see Rennes’ stance on that kind of a situation.
Ultimately, signing Camavinga would be considered as a major coup for any club in world football at this point of time. The Red Devils certainly appear to be interested and now it remains to be seen whether they can bring the youngster to Old Trafford.
