Manchester United have shown some tremendous progress over the last few years under the management of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Last season, they finished second in the Premier League and as runners up in the Europa League. And Solskjaer’s side were very difficult to beat for the majority of the season.

This summer they have gone on and strengthened the squad further. Jadon Sancho and Tom Heaton have already arrived at Old Trafford while an agreement has been reached for Raphael Varane’s transfer as well and it appears to be only a matter of time now.

The club have not won a trophy in four seasons now but things are looking up at the moment. They appear to be contenders for the Premier League title this season. And if they get things right, they could go on and win it this time around.

3 things Manchester United must do in order to win the Premier League

After a great start to their summer transfer window, here are three things that Manchester United must do in order to win the Premier League title:

Extend Paul Pogba’s contract

Paul Pogba has been one of the most important players in Solskjaer’s side in recent times. He played some of his best football in a Manchester United shirt last season and his form was one of the biggest reasons behind the club’s strong campaign.

His future at Old Trafford is up in the air though. At the moment, the French World Cup winner is in the final 12 months of his contract and has been heavily linked with a move to Paris Saint-Germain in recent times.

It will be important for the Red Devils to keep Pogba at Old Trafford though. On top form, he is one of the best players in the world and it will be very difficult to replace him if he does end up leaving. Thus, hopefully they can find a way to extend the Frenchman’s current deal.
