Ruben Neves already has a lot of experience in English football and that is something that the Red Devils should definitely consider when looking for a midfielder.

Neves joined Wolverhampton Wanderers back in the summer of 2017. According to stats from Transfermarkt, he has made 176 appearances for the club till now, scoring 20 goals and providing 10 assists. He also has 22 appearances for the Portugal national team under his belt.

Neves has been one of Wolves’ most important players over the past several years. But there is a feeling that they could let him leave this summer. And the Portuguese star has been linked with a summer move to Old Trafford.

Neves would definitely be a good signing for the Red Devils and his wealth of experience in the Premier League means that he could settle in quickly into his new surroundings. He could also be a good fit in Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s style of football. Now, it remains to be seen if the club end up making a move for the Portuguese midfielder.

Camavinga, Saul and Neves are just three of the several midfielders who the Red Devils have been linked with over the past few months. Of course, a lot will depend on the future of Paul Pogba when it comes to making a signing in the middle of the park this summer.
