Manchester United have been linked with a number of players over the course of the past few months as it looks like they are looking to strengthen in quite a few positions this summer.

Eduardo Camavinga is someone who has emerged as a target for the Red Devils. The 18-year-old is one of the most highly-rated talents in the world right now and with just a year left on his current deal with Rennes, he could be on the move this summer.

Considering his incredible potential, a number of clubs are expected to be interested in signing Camavinga. And it looks like Liverpool are one of them.

As reported by Anfield Central, Liverpool contacted Camavinga’s representation, who they have a strong relationship with and after a phone call with his agent, are seriously considering him as a target this summer.

Can Manchester United sign Camavinga this summer?

There is no questioning Camavinga’s potential. He can be one of the best players in the world in the future. As a result, it is not surprising that Manchester United have been linked with a move for him.

A number of other clubs appear to be in the race for his signature as well though. The likes of Chelsea, Liverpool, FC Barcelona, Real Madrid and many other clubs have been linked with a move for Camavinga in recent times and as a result, it is certainly going to be difficult for the Red Devils to get a deal for him over the line.

But if they can get it done, it would be considered as a major coup. Despite being 18 years of age, he already has solid experience under his belt and can possibly be a feature in the first-team from the get go. Camavinga has already been a regular in Rennes’ first-team for a couple of seasons now. According to stats from Transfermarkt, he has made 82 appearances for the club and has represented the France national team on three occasions as well.
