Manchester United offered chance to sign second Real Madrid star

Raphael Varane is someone who has been heavily linked with a move to Manchester United in recent times. The French World Cup winner has only one year left on his current deal with Real Madrid and could very well be on his way out of Santiago Bernabeu this summer.

Recent rumours have suggested that an agreement between the two sides for the transfer of Varane might not be far away. But it looks like he might not be the only Real Madrid player that the Red Devils have a chance of signing this summer.

As reported by the Mirror, Manchester United are being offered the chance to sign Real Madrid’s Vinicius Jr.

Real Madrid are believed to be looking for a minimum £68.5 million transfer fee for the Brazilian international. On the other hand, the Red Devils have already agreed a deal with Borussia Dortmund for Jadon Sancho this summer.

Vinicius Jr linked with Manchester United

Vinicius Jr joined Real Madrid back in the summer of 2018. His talent and potential have never been in question.

According to stats from Transfermarkt, he scored 6 goals and provided 7 assists in 49 appearances last season and if the winger can improve in certain aspects of his game, he can be even more effective. But at 21 years of age, he has all the time in the world to make those improvements.

Now, it remains to be seen whether he ends up leaving Santiago Bernabeu this summer. Vinicius Jr is certainly one of the most highly-rated youngsters at Real Madrid right now and considered a part of their future. Thus, him leaving would definitely come as a surprise to many. His current contract runs till the summer of 2025.

On the other hand, it would be surprising to see the Red Devils make a move for Vinicius Jr as well after already agreeing a deal for Sancho and being heavily linked with Varane.
