Manchester United look set to make a few big signings in this summer transfer window. They have already agreed a deal with Borussia Dortmund for the transfer of Jadon Sancho and have been heavily linked with a move for Raphael Varane as well, who has only one year left on his current deal with Real Madrid.

But one has to also remember that the club have made it a habit in recent years to sign some of the most highly-rated young talent from all around the world. It was just last summer that we saw them bring in Amad and Facundo Pellistri. And one such player that they have been linked with in recent times is Kamaldeen Sulemana.

The 19-year-old is coming off of a brilliant season with FC Nordsjaelland. According to stats from Transfermarkt, he scored 10 goals and provided 8 assists in 30 appearances last season.

Sulemana can play both as a striker and on the wings, and was linked with a move to Old Trafford in recent times. But now it looks like he is headed to Rennes. Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano tweeted out:

Sulemana could have been a good signing for Manchester United

At just 19 years of age, Sulemana has shown tremendous potential and quality. He has already even made a couple of appearances for the Ghana national team as well.

He could have been a good signing for the Red Devils but now, it looks like he is headed for Rennes. Ajax were also believed to be in the transfer race for Sulemana but appear to be out of it now.

Manchester United are having an exciting transfer window already though and it looks like their transfer plans are set to pick up pace as well. After four seasons without a trophy, it feels like the club are determined to bring an end to that streak as soon as possible.
