Manchester United handed Kieran Trippier transfer boost
Right-back is a position that Manchester United are believed to be looking to strengthen in over the course of this summer transfer window.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka has been the regular in the position ever since arriving at Old Trafford but beyond him, there does not appear to be much depth. Diogo Dalot’s future remains up in the air after having spent the previous season away on loan at AC Milan. Both Brandon Williams and Axel Tuanzebe are expected to depart the club on loan this summer as well in search of regular playing time.
As a result, it should not come as a surprise if the club do decide to make a move for a right-back and Atletico Madrid’s Kieran Trippier is someone that they have been heavily linked with in recent times.
And while they might not have managed to reach an agreement with Atletico Madrid yet, it looks like the Red Devils have been handed a boost. As reported by The Telegraph, Trippier is desperate for a Premier League return as he waits on Manchester United move.

Trippier could be a solid signing for Manchester United
Atletico Madrid do not appear to be in any hurry to part ways with the English international, who had a memorable EURO 2020 campaign as England made it to the final of the competition before losing to Italy on penalties.
On the other hand, it is not hard to see why the Red Devils would want to sign him. Trippier is a solid right-back with Premier League experience under his belt, who could be a solid addition to the current squad and provide Ole Gunnar Solskjaer with a different option in the position.
It is worth pointing out that the club have also been linked with Napoli’s Giovanni Di Lorenzo in recent weeks as well after he impressed at EURO 2020.
