It seems like Manchester United are on the look out for a centre-back this summer and have been heavily linked with Real Madrid superstar, Raphael Varane, who has only one year left on his current contract and could be on his way out of Santiago Bernabeu this summer.
Sergio Ramos has already left Real Madrid and it looks like his long-time partner at the back could be about to do the same in the near future.
As reported by GOAL, Real Madrid have now accepted that the French defender is likely to move on and they wait on an offer from Manchester United.
At this point of time, Old Trafford does appear to be the most likely destination for the French World Cup winner, as it does seem like he is looking for a new challenge after an incredibly successful time with the La Liga giants over the years.

Varane could be a brilliant signing for Manchester United
The 28-year-old has been linked with the Red Devils since the days of Sir Alex Ferguson as manager and it looks like the club could finally get their man this summer.
Although, they do not appear to be the only club interested in the player, as Paris Saint-Germain have been linked with Varane as well despite having signed Ramos already this summer.
Someone like Varane could possibly be the perfect signing for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side. He has an incredible combination of world-class quality and top level experience. He has won major trophies at both club and international level. And that kind of pedigree could be very valuable to the Red Devils, who have not won any silverware in the past four seasons.
Now, it remains to be seen whether the club are to get a deal for Varane over the line. But at this point of time, it does feel like they are the favourites for his signature.
