Manchester United linked with move for FC Barcelona superstar
After agreeing a deal with Borussia Dortmund for the transfer of Jadon Sancho, Manchester United have some incredible options up top. Other than the English winger, they also have the likes of Edinson Cavani, Mason Greenwood, Marcus Rashford, Anthony Martial, Amad and Daniel James as options in attack.
But it looks like they could be looking to strengthen even further in the final third if the right opportunities are there to do so. And they could make a move for Antoine Griezmann this summer.
As reported by Sport (via Football FanCast), Manchester United are one of several clubs who are interested in Griezmann. The likes of Chelsea, Atletico Madrid, Juventus and Manchester City also appear to be in the race for the Frenchman’s signature.
Griezmann had a very good individual season with the Spanish giants in the 2020/21 campaign. But the club might have very little choice but to let him leave this summer considering they are looking to renew Lionel Messi’s contract, who is a free agent at the moment, and their current financial situation.

Manchester United linked with a move for Griezmann
It goes without saying that Griezmann is a brilliant player. During his time at Atletico Madrid, he was one of the best players on the planet. Since his move to FC Barcelona though, things have not gone as well as he would have expected but ultimately, he did appear to find his feet at the Camp Nou last season.
According to stats from Transfermarkt, he scored 20 goals and provided 13 assists last season. Those are very impressive numbers for any player. But at the end of the day, it is hard to see where he would fit into this current Manchester United team.
On the other hand, the Red Devils have been linked with moves for the likes of Raphael Varane and Eduardo Camavinga recently, both of whom could turn out to be brilliant signings if the club can get the deals over the line.
